What you need to bring with you:

To begin with, sports clothes, a towel and plenty of fluids. Boxing gloves for boxing and kickboxing, MMA gloves and leg protectors, I can lend.

We practice barefoot and in sports shoes. You will also need bandages and a mouth guard. If you don't have it, I can sell it to you on the spot for a fee. Alternatively, you can also have elbow and knee pads.

Mixed martial arts (English Mixed Martial Arts, abbreviated MMA, Portuguese Artes marciais mistas, abbreviated AMM) is a full-contact combat sport without the use of weapons, allowing punches and grabs, fighting standing and on the ground, and combining various techniques of other combat sports and martial arts . Its goal is to find the most effective way of fighting between different martial arts in real situations of unarmed confrontation.

MMA has been gaining popularity recently. It is due to its attractiveness, when in one match you can see several different styles, both in stance and on the ground. Throws, which can be both judo and wrestling, are certainly popular with spectators.

The training of this sport is very diverse. It includes fighting techniques from various branches such as Thai boxing, boxing, karate, but also jiu jitsu, wrestling and others. Learning the basics is definitely not easy, but with the right guidance, this sport can be really fun. You don't have to fight in a cage right away. Even if you don't have racing ambitions, MMA can definitely offer you a lot. You will learn to defend yourself, to react in crisis situations under pressure. You'll get stronger, build your fitness, sculpt your figure, learn to use your body in a variety of movements, and you'll definitely improve your flexibility and mobility.

The fight takes place in the ring, exclusively while standing. As soon as the boxer touches the floor with a part of his body other than his feet or lies in the ropes after a hard blow, he is counted out in the ground position by the referee. In a fight, only punches that are not blocked or intercepted by the opponent and hit directly or with a swing, namely the jointed part of a clenched glove, on the front or side of the head or body from the waist up are evaluated.

Kickboxing

Kickboxing is a modern fighting style that is generally considered to be the most effective and complex stance combat sport, from which the stance part of MMA and most self-defense systems are based. It has a number of disciplines - from simplified semi-contact, which is very similar to karate (and which you will not meet in ARENA), to full-fledged K-1 kickboxing, which is very similar to Muay Thai, Thai boxing. It contains everything that classic boxing has, i.e. punches, defenses, dodges, plus a lot of kicks and knee strikes. Limited also clinches, which are basic grabs against a standing opponent (dropping one or two arms into the opponent). As a sport, it is great for strengthening, losing weight, building momentum, mental toughness, fitness and general movement intelligence.

Who is kixckbox for?

Kickboxing in ARENA starts from the basics and the lessons are adapted so that trainees of any age can train, or beginner kickboxers can take advantage of the beginner's lessons and gradually move to the standard lessons. The trainer composes the training so that partners with corresponding abilities and physical prerequisites train together. In addition, training is not a fight, the purpose is not to cut each other, but to help each other learn something. Kickboxing will also be useful for those who want to learn self-defense being able to land a blow and being able to survive a blow is the foundation of any fight whether you like it or not. And even if you're just doing it for fitness, at least you'll be able to run faster and further.

Mobility and functional movement.

Kickboxing can be trained just for fun, shaping the body, or directly training for participating in competitions.
